Ivan Fedotov has seized the starting goaltender role with steady, confident performances, and against the Sabres, he turned in another solid outing. Making 24 saves on 26 shots, Fedotov was calm and composed, providing the Flyers with the stability they’ve been searching for between the pipes.
What stood out most was Fedotov’s ability to handle pressure during Buffalo’s surges, particularly in the second period. The Sabres, with their dynamic offense led by players like Rasmus Dahlin, were determined to force their way back into the game, but Fedotov held firm, swallowing up rebounds and controlling the pace.
