The 2025 Texas Children’s Houston Open, the first of two consecutive stops on the PGA Tour in the Lone Star State, held a Monday qualifier for the final four spots in the field.
The tournament will have 156 players this year but 2026 it will be the first year of having smaller field of 132 golfers, which means future Houston Mondays will only advance two.
This is one of three events – along with the Valspar Championship and the next week’s Valero Texas Open – that will downsize to 132 in 2026 and thus have just two spots available from the Mondays.
This week’s 18-hole open qualifier was played at Westwood Golf Club in Houston.
