Shinnecock Hills will play host to the best golfers on the planet next week when the U.S. Open rolls into town on Long Island.

He plays to a handicap of 10, so he obviously knows his way around a golf course.

Bobby Fairways played at Shinnecock alongside Fat Perez and Joey Cold Cuts in howling 30 mph winds.

The trio played from the forward tees, with the course measuring 6,136 yards – a full 1,300 yards shorter than the length the course will play next week for the U.S. Open.

Bobby posted a round of 99 around the par-70 layout.

He made 10 double bogeys, two triple bogeys, three bogeys and just three pars during what was an extremely challenging day on the links.

Interestingly, scratch golfer Fat Perez posted an impressive 75, while Joey Cold Cuts (11.2 handicap) carded an 83.

How many shots a 10-handicapper receives at Shinnecock from the blue tees

From the blue tees, the par-70 has a course rating of 70.8.

The slope rating is 135.

If you are a 10-handicap amateur playing Shinnecock from the blue tees, you would receive 13 strokes.

Interestingly, from the tips, you would receive a whopping 18 shots.

However, the conditions that the Bob Does Sports guys played in were obviously extremely challenging.

99 sounds like a poor score, but anyone who has played Shinnecock Hills when the wind is up will understand that 29 over-par is nothing to be ashamed of.
