Terence Crawford partner: Alindra Person
Person is the longtime partner of Crawford. They are high school sweethearts and have been together since the early 2000s. They are not legally married, but she is the mother of six of Crawford’s seven children. Person is from Omaha, Nebraska and focuses on taking care of their family while supporting Crawford’s boxing career.
June 2025 reports indicated there may have been some issues between the two, which stems from Crawford’s appearance on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast mentioning that he had a seventh child with another woman. We have not seen definitive reports on their current status as a romantic couple.

Terence Crawford Sr. raised his son in Omaha, Nebraska. While Crawford’s mother was known as the tough motivator, his father was more known for his warmth and support. He was in the Navy and wanted to spend as much quality time with his son as he could. His son would recollect his father’s visits when he was a kid, saying, “He always told me he was proud of me… I used to cry when he left because my dad was like my best friend when he was there.”

Terence Crawford’s mother Deborah raised him while his father was in the Navy. Some would call her parenting tactics harsh, but looking back, her son talks about how they toughened him up. “So she’ll get the little kids in the neighborhood $5 if they can win,” he recalled. “We’ll be in the front yard. You know, I beat them all up.”
Deborah herself talked about her tough love. “I have never told him, ‘I love you. I never liked it as a kid; I never liked hugs or kisses, and it grew with me.” Her harshness paid off for his career. Crawford said, “Anything I did, whether it was in the ring or not, I wanted to win to prove a point to my mother because she would tell me I wasn’t good enough.”

Terence Crawford sister: Latisha Crawford
We don’t know much about his sisters outside of their support for him in life and in his career. Latisha said in an interview, “He’s so giving. He blessed others and that’s why he get blessed. People don’t see what my brother do, but my brother got a big heart. And every time I see him do something, its just like, I never knew my brother was like that. I knew he was like that with his sisters, but I did not know he was like that with others. I see a different part of him.”
When Crawford started making a lot of money, he made sure to take care of his family and bought each of his sisters a house.

Shawntay has always been supportive of her brother, and it wasn’t limited to boxing. She used to tell him as a kid, “No matter what nobody tell you, whatever you put your mind to, you can make it.” Not much else is known about Shawntay other than her brother also bought her a house.

Where is Terence Crawford from?
Terence Crawford was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He still lives in Omaha and is raising his family there. Crawford also has a second house in Colorado Springs that he will go to when he is training.
In Omaha, Crawford grew up on Larimore Avenue, but in 2018 it was re-named to Terence “Bud” Crawford St. He was the keynote commencement speaker at University of Nebraska-Omaha’s graduation ceremony in 2025.
