Looking for TenZ’s VALORANT settings, keybinds, and crosshair preferences? Considering his popularity in the world of esports and gaming, your query is pretty justified—and we’ve got it covered.

After a three-year career as a Counter Strike: Global Offensive professional, Tyson “TenZ” Ngo migrated to VALORANT under Cloud9’s banner in 2020, the same year Riot’s tac shooter made it to the market. He announced his retirement from the competition after VCT in September 2024, but he’s still a content creator for the Sentinels, though, so you can always tune into his VALORANT streams on Twitch or YouTube to see him pop heads and flaunt his helicopter flicks—and you can refer to his settings as a starting point.

TenZ’s full list of VALORANT settings: Crosshair codes, mouse sensitivity, and more

Before we jump to decode his VALORANT settings, here’s why TenZ’s preferences are an ideal point of reference. For starters, he has largely preferred using one of the most beginner-friendly and reliable reticle styles: the plus crosshair in cyan.

TenZ’s VALORANT crosshair settings

Crosshair code 0;s;1;P;c;5;h;0;m;1;0l;3;0o;0;0a;1;0f;0;1b;0;S;c;5;o;1

Center Dot Off
Inner Lines On
Inner Line Opacity 1
Inner Line Length 3
Inner Line Thickness 2
Inner Line Offset 0
Outer Lines Off

Before this, he used a crosshair with slightly longer inner lines and offset, which looked like this:

If you’re a beginner trying to perfect your placement, we recommend you try TenZ’s old crosshair first. Here’s how you can get it.

His mouse settings are a great starting point too—not too fast, nor too slow.

Which mouse does TenZ use?

TenZ has been spotted using several kinds of gaming mice across VALORANT tournaments and his streams, so it’s safe to say he’s a mouse connoisseur. That said, his favorite seems to be the Ninjutso Sora V2. He also uses the ZOWIE S2-DW at times.

TenZ has also designed a gaming mouse for his fandom in collaboration with the popular peripheral brand, Finalmouse. It’s called the TenZ x Finalmouse Starlight Pro and was launched in July 2022.

The TenZ Secret Mouse in 2023 was met with backlash for lack of transparency about the mouse’s design, which led to the freezing of pre-orders at the time.

TenZ’s VALORANT keybinds

While default keybinds may work for some, putting some of VALORANT’s mechanics on your mouse’s extra buttons helps strike a balance between keyboard and mouse usage, potentially helping you react much faster.

TenZ’s achievements in VALORANT

Since his career in VALORANT esports began in 2020, he has bagged two international titles (as part of the Sentinels) and several outlandish plays under his name. While he was initially a Jett/duelist main, TenZ shifted to a support role when his team needed him to (Sentinels’ roster revamp for VCT 2023 and beyond) and, unsurprisingly, excelled there too. He was best known for his prowess with the Operator, both on stream and in his esports career.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end—so did TenZ’s run in pro VALORANT.
