Surprise Newcastle star joins very exclusive list after latest assist 😲

Jacob Murphy is one of the more unfashionable names in the Newcastle squad but is one of the first on the team sheet and his latest assist against Manchester United tells us why.

The 30-year-old winger did very well to get on the end of Tino Livramento’s cross from the left, tapping it back across goal for Harvey Barnes to get the first of his two goals.

It was his 10th assist of the season to go with five goals, which puts him in very exalted company alongside two of the league’s very best.

Perhaps its time Murphy got the praise he is starting to warrant.
