After finishing tied atop the leaderboard with a team score of 9-over 585, Cramer and Fayetteville’s Terry Sanford needed playoff holes Tuesday to determine the 2025 NCHSAA 3A state champion. Senior Aiden Vargosko also came on strong the final 18 holes, shooting a 2-under 70. His 1-under 143 earned him a ninth-place finish. Drew Mercer (5-over 149), Britton Steede (9-over 153) and Ian Irish (9-over 153) contributed to the Storm’s title win.

East Lincoln’s Warren Stiglitz claimed the NCHSAA 3A individual boys golf title, shooting a 6-under 138 over 36 holes.
