The Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting two players to pre-draft visits on Thursday, one of which is a local star.
Pitt linebacker Kyle Louis is visiting the team today, per Nick Farabaugh of PennLive. Louis has been a name on the rise during the draft process after having a terrific week at the Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine.

Over the last two seasons, Louis has been one of the most disruptive defenders in the country, registering 182 tackles, 24 of which were for loss, as well as racking up 10 sacks and six interceptions.
The Steelers are also hosting Illinois defensive lineman James Thompson, who had a big 2025 himself. Thompson put up 41 tackles, three sacks, and two tackles for loss with the Fighting Illini.
The Steelers defense has gotten deeper this offseason, specifically in the secondary. If they were to use a somewhat early pick on an off-ball linebacker, Louis’ name could be one to watch.
