While it is heavily expected that the Pittsburgh Steelers and Aaron Rodgers will be in negotiations on a new deal this weekend, general manager Omar Khan is adamant that he does not currently know where the four-time MVP is.
Joining Chris Mack on Westwood One Radio, Khan says he does not know specifically where Rodgers is at this current moment.

“I don’t know where specifically Aaron is,” Khan said. “I can tell you that Aaron and I, and coach… we’ve had some good conversations since the season ended and since Mike [McCarthy] got hired. It’s been positive. I don’t know where he is at this moment. We continue to have conversations and they’re positive. We had a good experience with him last year and I think he would probably echo the same thing – conversations continue.”
Rodgers is still expected to be in Pittsburgh this weekend, as was originally reported by Dorin Dickerson and 93.7 The Fan, and confirmed by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
“Progress for the Steelers and Aaron Rodgers,” Rapoport said in a quote post of The Fan’s report. “While no deal is in place, at least he is planning to visit for further discussion.”
So while Khan may be telling the truth that he doesn’t know where Rodgers is right this second, it is still expected that he will be in Pittsburgh to meet with the Steelers before the end of the weekend.
