ST. LOUIS — Jordan Binnington is used to the spotlight, and it’s no secret that one will be flashed on the St. Louis Blues goalie on Tuesday.

When Binnington goes against the NHL’s only remaining undefeated team, the Winnipeg Jets (5-0-0), he’s going against one of the best at the other end in Connor Hellebuyck, who historically has been good in his career against the Blues (15-5-2. 2.04 goals-against average, .929 save percentage).

The Jets have owed the Blues the past three seasons, winning nine of the past 11 head-to-head matchups, and aside from beating them in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs in 2019 when the Blues  won the Cup, Binnington is just 3-6-1 with a 3.09 GAA and .905 save percentage against the Jets.

With Joel Hofer playing the past two games and 3-0-0 on the season, Binnington, who is 1-2-0 with a 3.02 GAA and .895 save percentage, he will need to get back on the horse here and be a standout should the Blues want to continue to be taken seriously and take those progressive steps against the top teams.
