Mowi Premiership strugglers Skye brought Oban Camanachd firmly back to earth with a spectacular 4-0 league victory in Portree just seven days after the Argyllshire club won the Macaulay Cup.
There’s no change at the top of the table following leaders Newtonmore’s 6-0 home win over Kinlochshiel while Kingussie overwhelmed Kyles 7-0 at Tighnabruich. Col Glen drifted to two points shy of safety when they were pegged back for a late 3-3 draw by visitors Caberfeidh.

Fort William defeated Lochaber 3-0 in their local derby at An Aird.
Lovat confirmed the second National Division promotion place alongside leaders Glenurquhart with a 3-1 home win over local rivals Beauly – but the title remains undecided, despite Glen’s 3-1 success at Inveraray.
Dan MacDonald was Skye’s hero when he put them 2-0 up with a slick double just before half-time and completed his hat-trick late on, after Archie Millar had scored Skye’s third.
Doubles from Euan Dingwall and Steven MacDonald after an early Brodie MacBean goal and an Iain Robinson penalty secured the points for Newtonmore.

Kingussie’s pursuit comprised a Zander Michie hat-trick, which followed a goal apiece from Rory Munro, Jack Nelson and Ruaridh Anderson to put the defending champions 3-0 up after 10 minutes, and one from Lee Bain.
At Clachan of Glendaruel, Blair Morrison and Gavin MacLaughlan both put Cabers in front but Marcus Keith and Neily MacNaughton both equalised for Col Glen. Scott MacVicar then gave the home side the lead before Jamie MacKintosh’s stoppage-time equaliser for Caberfeidh.
All of Fort’s goals – two from Jack Kearney following Hamish Shaw’s opener – came in the first half.
Newtonmore remain six points clear of Kingussie, who have two games in hand. Kyles are now three points adrift of Col Glen at the bottom, but with a game in hand while Col Glen are two points behind Skye, who have three games in hand.

Danny Kelly opened for Lovat at Balgate and put them ahead again before half-time after David MacLean’s equaliser for Beauly. Thomas Fraser grabbed Lovat’s third to secure a straight bounce back up to the Premiership for the Kiltarity side.
Lovat’s victory also left the title still open despite Glenurquhart’s win, where Daniel MacLean opened just before half-time, Neale Reid made it 2-0, Nicky Crawford pulled one back for Inveraray and MacLean completed his double. Lovat’s promotion comes despite Kilmallie’s 8-1 home win over Bute, where Martin Stewart, including a penalty opener, Shane O’Rua and Calum MacDougall all scored doubles.
Kingussie’s reserves defeated their Newtonmore counterparts 3-0 at The Dell to win the Strathdearn Cup for the north junior championship.
