Si Woo Kim and Scottie Scheffler are both members at the Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas, Texas.
It’s no surprise that Si Woo and Scheffler play golf with each other outside of tournament weeks.
The world number one golfer has dominated the game over the past few years, winning 22 times on the PGA Tour, including four major championships.

Scottie Scheffler is definitely someone who Si Woo Kim looks up to, and why wouldn’t he be?
Si Woo has always enjoyed playing alongside Scheffler during PGA Tour events.
However, it seems as though the South Korean has actually learned more from the 30-year-old away from tournament play.
It’s certainly no coincidence that Scheffler has been the world’s best golfer for so long now.

Scheffler has set the standard in professional golf since his first win back in February 2022.
Si Woo Kim told Fried Egg Golf how he used to head to the golf course around 11 am before practicing for one hour and then having lunch.

However, that all changed when he saw Scheffler in action at Royal Oaks.
“I was really lazy. If I could go back, I would be more humble and try to work some more than before,” Si Woo said.
“I never thought my practicing was an issue. And since I joined Royal Oaks, I’ve seen how much work Scottie puts in and how hard he works out even though he is number one in the world. I think he only thinks about trying to improve his golf game.
“It’s just crazy. Even with that talent, putting in that much work? It was impressive.”
There is a reason why Scheffler has been the world number one golfer for 175 consecutive weeks now.

Not only is the 30-year-old remarkably talented, but he’s one of the hardest workers in the game as well, if not the hardest.
Scottie Scheffler has the whole package, but the 22 wins he has recorded, including four majors, would not have been possible without the work he puts in behind the scenes.
