In a landmark announcement, Zuffa Boxing confirmed Thursday the signing of four-division champion Shakur Stevenson to a multi-fight promotional deal.

Stevenson, Uncrowned’s No. 4 pound-for-pound boxer, is the current WBO super lightweight champion. He won the title with a dominant victory over Teofimo Lopez in January at Madison Square Garden.

Stevenson is the most high-profile and accomplished fighter to join the fledgling promoter thus far. He joins a stable of talent that includes Conor Benn, Richardson Hitchins, Edgar Berlanga and Jai Opetaia, who is also on Uncrowned’s pound-for-pound Top 10.

“Line them up, one by one, and I’ll beat all the top guys once I get them in front of me,” said Stevenson (25-0, 11 KOs). “With Zuffa Boxing, I’m going to go after the biggest fights in the sport, and I will become the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world.”

“Shakur is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world,” UFC president and Zuffa Boxing CEO Dana White said. “He’s 29 years old, undefeated and already a four-division world champion. This is a massive signing for Zuffa Boxing, and I’m looking forward to promoting this next fight.”

Stevenson, who began his career with Bob Arum’s Top Rank, was in negotiations to realign with the promotion in recent months. His two-fight deal with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom expired following his win over William Zepeda in July 2025. Stevenson was a free agent heading into the Lopez bout.

It is expected Stevenson will not be limited to Zuffa Boxing shows on Paramount+ and will also be able to fight on Turki Alalshikh’s Ring Magazine and Riyadh Season events.
