The 30-year-old now has 21 career wins on the PGA Tour, including four major championships.
Over the past few years, Scottie Scheffler has produced a run of golf that we have not seen since the heydays of Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.

The world number one obviously has a long way to go before he can even be compared to those two golfing greats, but as things stand, he’s definitely on the right path.
Nicklaus won 73 PGA Tour tournaments through his career, including a record 18 major championships.
Meanwhile, Woods won a record-equalling 82 times on the PGA Tour, with 15 majors to his name.

Scheffler’s consistency since 2022 has been very similar to what Woods produced from the late-1990s to 2008.

The 30-year-old from Dallas may not have won as many times as Woods, but 21 victories since February 2022 is still an exceptional return.

Tiger Woods at just 24 was the quickest man to reach 21 wins, while Nicklaus was 27 when he recorded his 21st victory.
Meanwhile, Tom Watson’s 21st win came when he was 30 years and seven months old.
Scheffler is five months younger now than Watson was then.
Scottie Scheffler is clearly on a path towards greatness and genuine legendary status in the game.

Scottie Scheffler could go down as one of the greatest golfers of all time
If he manages to win three times per season on average for the next 10 years, and adds one major championship title every two years to his tally, he will have 51 wins including nine majors by the time he’s 40.
It is more than realistic to think that he will be able to achieve a win rate similar to that.
And if he does, Scottie Scheffler will then be spoken about as one of the top five greatest golfers of all time.
However, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods will almost certainly remain on their own at the top of the tree.
The fact that Scheffler is the third-youngest player to reach 21 PGA Tour wins proves just how dominant he has been over the past few years.
Especially when you consider he didn’t win his first title until he was 25!
