Sometimes you need more than 72 holes.
The Travelers Championship was unable to crown a winner on Sunday thanks to a suspension due to dangerous weather in the area. Matters were concluded relative to the 72 holes of play as noted with Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler each sitting at 21-under for the tournament.

Scheffler bested Hovland by a stroke on Sunday specifically with a round of 68 that helped make up the distance to force the tie. Hovland has been right around the lead all throughout the Travelers, the final Signature Event of the PGA Tour season, and has had plenty of fans in the stands representing Norway with some serious World Cup vibes.
Despite being right around him throughout the entire tournament, Scottie has sort of felt like he has been chasing down Hovland in Connecticut. Maybe the Norway fans have created that ambiance.
Whatever the case, Scottie has plenty of United States support in the crowd as well. Again, the World Cup flavor is ringing true in several senses.
The duo are set for a Monday morning playoff at 9am ET where the format will be hole 18 in a sudden death sense until a winner is crowned. It can be seen on Golf Channel, NBC Sports Network, and Peacock.
Should be fun!
