Scottie Scheffler entered the 2026 Memorial Tournament looking for a third straight victory. He ended his round on June 4 tied for 33rd place at 1-over par, six shots back of the leader. That might seem like a huge deficit, but Scheffler is known for putting his best foot forward in the final rounds. He is still certainly in contention for yet another title.

However, Scheffler did not seem too pleased with his play. Following a bogey on 14, Scheffler pulled a ball left of the green on 16. It took an unfortunate bounce and ended up in the water, an uncommon sight for the world’s top-ranked golfer.

After the shot, Scheffler was noticeably distressed and vented his frustrations to his caddie.
