Samantha Busch openly considered adding to her family in the wake of her husband’s potential death.
Kyle Busch, 41, died earlier this month. He died as a result of pneumonia, suffering from sepsis. He was rushed to the hospital after coughing up blood, dying a short time later. The death of the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion has left a huge hole in the sport’s heart.

He was fierce, he was passionate, he was immensely skilled and he cared deeply about the sport and fans. His sharp wit and competitive spirit sparked a deep emotional connection with race fans of every age, creating the proud and loyal ‘Rowdy Nation.’ Our thoughts are with Samantha, Brexton and Lennix, Kyle and Samantha’s parents, Kurt and all of Kyle’s family, Richard and Judy Childress, everyone at Richard Childress Racing, his teammates, friends and fans. NASCAR lost a giant of the sport today, far too soon.

Samantha Busch, the widow of the late NASCAR driver, continues to mourn her husband’s loss.

However, in a resurfaced clip, we’ve learned that Samantha Busch has considered wanting to have another kid, if her husband were to pass suddenly.

Samantha Busch has openly admitted to considering having another kid, if her husband were to pass away. She’s kept her embryos for the future.
“I would have to have another kid to be connected to you and name that child after you,” she said.
It’s unclear what her plans are at the moment. Kyle Busch leaves behind his wife and two children.

NASCAR, meanwhile, continues to throw its support behind Samantha Busch. A moment of silence was held for Kyle Busch in Charlotte next week.
“Samantha, I want you to know that this sport stands with you, and that you and your children are NASCAR family forever,” NASCAR said at the Charlotte Motor Speedway last weekend.
