Ryan Blaney had a strong effort go to waste with a late race crash in Sunday’s NASCAR Las Vegas race.

On lap 195 of the scheduled 267 in the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Blaney was squeezed by Christopher Bell exiting turn 2 and was spun going down the backstretch.

While Blaney was spinning, he was hit in the back bumper by Erik Jones. The No. 12 Team Penske Ford has heavy damage on the front bumper and front splitter and has been brought to the garage.

“Pretty sure it was my mistake,” Blaney said to FOX Sports pit reporters. “Just a long weekend for the Pennzoil team.”

Blaney also had a big crash in practice Saturday when a right rear tire blew and he hit the wall. He started at the back of the field and was able to drive through the field several times during the race.

Blaney is scored 34th in the running order, which may change depending on if he is able to get back on the track.
