What to wear, what to wear, what to wear. That’s what’s going through every celeb’s head before heading to Wimbledon. You know there’ll be photos galore, and you don’t want to look like a schlub in front of the best tennis players in the world, along with the countless other dignitaries in attendance.

That’s right! McIlroy and quite a few other members of the European Ryder Cup team sat in the Royal Box on Centre Court. Teammates Tommy Fleetwood and Justin Rose, as well as captain Luke Donald and vice captains Thomas Bjorn, Edoardo Molinari and Francesco Molinari all made the trip. The winning squad checked out Jannik Sinner’s second-round match against Nuno Borges. And it’s probably a good thing Shane Lowry wasn’t there, or they would’ve drunk their weight in Pimm’s, the famed summery Wimbledon cocktail.

Thankfully, we can’t see anyone complaining about McIlroy’s green jacket get-up. Well, maybe Justin Rose and Scottie Scheffler are a bit miffed after losing by one stroke to McIlroy in back-to-back years … but that’s a different story.
