Serie A side Roma have been interested in West Ham’s Nayef Aguerd and it remains to be seen if they will carry forward with their move or not.
Juventus have also been a potential suitor for the defender and there has been talk of a swap deal involving Daniele Rugani. Roma are also in the chase and Sky Italia have reported about the details.
They claim that in the last few weeks, Roma did make a move for Aguerd but back then, Florent Ghisolfi was still in charge of the Giallorossi. Information was sought from West Ham at that point and now that Ghisolfi has left, it remains to be seen if Ricky Massara also makes a formal approach for the defender.
Juve have started formal contacts with West ham and are willing to offer Rugani in the move. It remains to be seen if they make an official offer or Roma do it on the approval of Massara, who has joined as Ghisolfi’s replacement.
