The Los Angeles Dodgers placed pitcher Roki Sasaki on the 15-day injured list on Thursday, Aug. 27.
Sasaki had a blister on his right middle finger, according to the team. The blister led to him leaving a game against the Atlanta Braves in the fourth inning on Wednesday night.

Sasaki allowed four runs in 3.1 innings before he had a visit on the mound from the team’s athletic trainer and left the game.
The right-handed pitcher has a 5-5 record this season, allowing 63 runs (61 earned runs) and 22 home runs in 119.1 innings pitched.
In a corresponding move, the Dodgers recalled Seth Halvorsen to replace Sasaki.
