Serie A giants Inter Milan are seriously considering bringing Aleksandar Stankovic back from Club Brugge in the summer.

According to Matteo Moretto via FCInterNews, the young midfielder’s future is entirely in Inter’s hands.

Inter sold Aleskandar Stankovic to Club Brugge for a reported fee of €10 million last summer.

However, the Serie A leaders have included a buyback clause.

Therefore, they will be able to re-sign the rising Serbian star at the end of the season for around €23 million.

Stankovic has gone from strength to strength at the Jan Breydel Stadium this season.

Indeed, the 20-year-old midfielder has established himself as one of Brugge’s standout performers.

For context, he has made 35 appearances in all competitions, bagging five goals and adding seven assists.

Moreover, Stankovic’s scintillating form seems to have convinced Inter to activate a buyout option in the summer.
