Real Madrid have reportedly given Manuel Angel the green light to leave the club before the transfer window closes, with the midfielder now attracting growing interest from Spain and England.
According to Bernabeu Digital, Los Blancos are prepared to sanction the academy graduate’s departure in order to help him find a club where he can play regular first-team football.

Real Madrid, though, want to ensure they do not completely lose control over his future.
The key condition is that the club retain 50% of Manuel Angel’s registration rights as part of any agreement.
That structure has been used by Real Madrid with other academy graduates and would allow the club to maintain a significant financial interest in the midfielder should his value rise in the future.

Recent reports suggest a 50% sale is now being discussed, with the player’s price dropping to around €4 million.
Almeria and Cadiz battle for Manuel Angel
Real Madrid’s decision to open the door has intensified the race for Manuel Angel, with Almeria and Cadiz currently emerging as the strongest contenders for his signature.

On that note, Almeria had been working on a deal for several weeks and appeared to hold the advantage in the pursuit of the Real Madrid midfielder.
Their efforts, though, have been held up by financial differences that prevented the transfer from being completed.
That delay has given Cadiz the opportunity to enter the race.

The Spanish second division club is now attempting to convince the player and could overturn a move that had previously looked likely to take Manuel Angel to Almeria.
Fulham are also monitoring the Real Madrid midfielder
For what it is worth, the race may not be limited to Spain.

As reported before, Fulham are also considering a move for Manuel Angel, opening up the possibility of a Premier League switch for the Real Madrid academy product.
The midfielder was given opportunities by Alvaro Arbeloa towards the end of last season, experiences that helped increase his profile as he looked to take the next step in his development.
Despite Fulham’s interest, it is still said that Almeria and Cadiz currently appear to be further advanced in their attempts to secure his signature.
