Just weeks after announcing a new massive partnership with Golfweek and four months after its launch, RE/MAX Golf Lifestyles has already planted its first flag inside a golf community.
On Aug. 10, RE/MAX executives, agents and community leaders gathered at Juniper Preserve Golf & Wellness Resort outside Bend, Oregon, to celebrate the opening of the program’s first on-site real estate office. Operated by RE/MAX Key Properties, the office places golf lifestyle specialists directly inside the community, offering buyers and sellers access to agents who understand the nuances that make golf real estate different from traditional homeownership.
“When Golf Life Navigators joined RE/MAX earlier this year, we saw a tremendous opportunity to help consumers navigate the expanding golf lifestyle market with the expertise it deserves,” said Jason Becker, RE/MAX vice president of lifestyles, co-founder of Golf Life Navigators and a PGA of America professional. “The opening of the first office at Juniper Preserve just months later brings that vision to life. This is only the beginning of what we can build for golf-focused buyers, sellers, agents and communities.”
Few places embody that vision better than Juniper Preserve. Tucked within a 1,000-year-old juniper forest in Central Oregon, the luxury resort community blends high-end real estate with championship golf, wellness amenities and year-round outdoor recreation. Residents have access to two acclaimed courses, the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course and the private Tom Fazio Championship Course, along with the hiking, biking, skiing and river adventures that have made the region a coveted destination.
The opening comes as RE/MAX expands its reach beyond the brokerage world and deeper into the broader golf lifestyle conversation. In partnership with Golfweek, the company recently launched Golf Real Estate with RE/MAX, a dedicated digital destination that combines property search tools, community guides and real estate expertise with Golfweek’s editorial coverage of the game.

Powered by RE/MAX Golf Lifestyles and the Golfweek editorial team, the platform is designed to serve golfers searching for more than square footage and lot lines. Visitors can explore golf community profiles, connect with specialized agents and browse homes while also gaining insight into the courses, clubs and destinations that define the golf lifestyle.
Together, the initiatives reflect a growing belief that golfers aren’t simply shopping for homes. They’re searching for communities that align with how they want to spend their time, pursue their passions and build connections.
“Being chosen as the launchpad is a huge honor, and it reflects what Juniper Preserve represents: an exceptional golf lifestyle people travel from across the country to experience,” said Ricky Baker, lead broker of the Juniper Preserve office for RE/MAX Key Properties. “This partnership allows us to bring that experience to an even broader audience. We’re just getting started.”
The opening marks another step in the growth of RE/MAX Golf Lifestyles, a program designed to equip agents with specialized knowledge ranging from golf course operations and club membership structures to the subtle distinctions that separate one golf community from the next. More than 200 RE/MAX agents have already completed the certification program, and Juniper Preserve is expected to be the first of several independently owned and operated RE/MAX Golf Lifestyles offices across the network.
“This program is bigger than one office,” said Tim Buccola, owner of RE/MAX Key Properties. “It gives agents across our brokerage an opportunity to develop expertise in a growing real estate niche, connect with a new group of clients and provide guidance that goes well beyond the home itself.”
For RE/MAX and Golfweek, the effort represents a convergence of expertise at a moment when lifestyle-driven real estate continues to attract growing interest. Whether consumers begin their search online through editorial content and community guides or walk into a dedicated office inside a golf resort, the goal remains the same: helping buyers find not just the right house, but the right course, community and way of life.
