Here are all of the Rangers' picks from the 2025 NHL Draft in Los Angeles…

Round 2

No. 43 pick: LW Malcolm Spence

The Rangers' first 2025 NHL Draft pick is the 18-year-old Michigan commit, who is from Mississauga, Ontario, and has spent the past three years with the Ontario Hockey League's Erie Otters. In 195 games from 2022-25, Spence totaled 177 points on 67 goals and 110 assists.

"Really, really happy and honored and excited to get going with the Rangers and hopefully see you guys soon," Spence said.

Elite Prospects: When Spence is at his best with his motor at full throttle, he can take over games, connecting with teammates in the offensive zone, roaming the high slot, getting open at the right moment to unleash his one-timer, and relaying his passes to the slot after eluding defenders on the wall.

Round 3

No. 70 pick: D Sean Barnhill

The 18-year-old Northeastern commit is from Scottsdale, Ariz., and totaled 12 points on four goals and eight assists in 54 games this past season with the United States Hockey League's Dubuque Fighting Saints.

Elite Prospects: With a deep, balanced stance and quick feet, Barnhill denies rushes and then jumps up into the play. He matches the footwork of smaller, high-skill attackers with ease, and he rarely overextends. The skating appears most in his rush defence, where he makes some high-level stops with his feet moving after taking away the middle.
