The Los Angeles Rams added two more players to the roster on Monday, signing guard Bill Murray and defensive back Alex Cook, according to the NFL’s transaction wire. The Rams were already under the 90-man limit, so no corresponding moves were necessary, as L.A. just put two players on injury lists on Sunday.
The move comes just one day after guard Justin Dedich was placed on non-football injury list and cornerback Al’Zillion Hamilton on PUP.

Murray, an undrafted free agent out of William & Mary in 2020, has only appeared in four games over six years. He has made zero starts and most recently made an appearance with the Chicago Bears in 2024. The New England Patriots originally moved him from defensive line to offensive line, helping give context to his lack of reps but continued develop in spite of that.
Cook has also had a quiet career. Undrafted out of Washington in 2023, Cook appeared in 10 games with the Panthers that year, making two starts. He was most recently on the Birmingham Stallions of the UFL.
The Rams have quickly addressed their two roster moves from Sunday, but will Murray and Cook last until their next ones?
