Daytona Motor Mouths: Darlington, Bristol and Denny Hamlin
The guys talk William Byron’s Darlington run, Denny Hamlin’s win, Chase Elliott’s throwback weekend criticism and NASCAR’s upcoming Bristol trip.
The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season reaches the end of its first quarter Sunday with the Food City 500 at Bristol.
Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson are the favorites of the odds makers. Denny largely because he’s coming off two straight wins. Kyle, among other reasons, because he has a great track record at Bristol over the past few seasons.
They’ll both start Sunday behind Alex Bowman, who won the pole Saturday. In a bit of a surprise, Bowman will start alongside Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who was second fastest Saturday at the half-mile Bristol Motor Speedway.
