The PGA Tour season is over and the golf world turns its attention to the 2026 Presidents Cup.
The rosters for this year’s competition are now set after the United States and International teams announced their captain’s picks during a televised special on Tuesday, Sept. 1. Brandt Snedeker is serving as the U.S. team captain, while Australian Geoff Ogilvy will lead the International team as captain.

Ryder Cup stalwarts Justin Thomas and Xander Schauffele, as well as rising star Chris Gotterup, lead the American selections, while Canadians Corey Conner and Nick Taylor were the International team’s first two captain’s picks. Snedeker also made something of a surprise pick by making 21-year-old PGA Tour rookie Jackson Koivun his final captain’s pick for the U.S. team.

When is the 2026 Presidents Cup?
The 2026 Presidents Cup is scheduled to take place at Medinah Country Club outside Chicago beginning on Thursday, Sept. 24 and end with the final day of competition slated for Sunday, Sept. 27.

Ben Griffin was the highest-ranked golfer in the Presidents Cup standings (8th) not to be selected to the U.S. team.
