Pocono Raceway, nicknamed “The Tricky Triangle,” will remain in the month of June for the third consecutive year. Spanning from June 11-13, the 2.5-mile track will host the Craftsman Truck Series, O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, and the Cup Series for a tripleheader weekend of action.

Announced across its social media platforms on Tuesday, Pocono Raceway is set to host NASCAR’s top three series in June 2027.
The Craftsman Series race will take place on Friday, June 11. On Saturday, June 12, the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series will take to “The Tricky Triangle.” The race weekend will wrap up Sunday, June 13 with the running of the Cup Series race.

Pocono Raceway formerly had two race weekends during the NASCAR season. Starting in 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cup Series circuit ran a two-day doubleheader at “The Tricky Triangle” with races on Saturday and Sunday.
NASCAR repeated the two-day Pocono doubleheader in 2021 before moving to one Pocono date starting in 2022.
Denny Hamlin will enter next year’s Pocono Cup race as the defending winner. The driver of the No. 11 took the checkered flag in this year’s Great American Getaway 400 after pacing the field for 28 of 160 laps.
Hamlin’s triumph was his fourth win of the 2026 season and 64th career win, which moved him into ninth place on NASCAR’s all-time wins list. The Joe Gibbs Racing star moved past the late Kyle Busch, who he tied for ninth on the list with a win the previous week at Michigan.

Other NASCAR 2027 dates still to be announced
The 2027 NASCAR season scheduled is in its finishing touches. Over the last few weeks, many tracks have announced their respective race weekend dates.
One of the key races yet to be announced is the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Although the Crown Jewel event normally runs on Memorial Day Weekend, it has yet to be confirmed by NASCAR’s 2027 schedule tracker.
The fall Charlotte race has not been announced, either. Yet, with the October 17 weekend still open, it is expected that the track will remain in The Chase.
Watkins Glen is set to return to the 10-race Chase in 2027. While the road course race is scheduled to take place in September, the date has not been confirmed.
