The final round of the WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale is underway.

Entering the day, it was Thomas Detry’s tournament to lose. The Belgian, the odds-on favorite (-220) as play began Sunday, was 18-under par, five strokes ahead of a trailing pack headlined by three-time major champion Jordan Spieth, who is in search of his first PGA Tour win since 2022.

The others tied with Spieth were Rasmus Hojgaard, Michael Kim and Daniel Berger, with Maverick McNealy alone in sixth following a sharp, 8-under 63 in Saturday’s third round.

Spieth was the second choice, per BetMGM, at +850 while two-time champion Scottie Scheffler was tied with McNealy as the sixth betting choice at +2200 (bet $100 to win $2,200).

Monday qualifier enjoys his stay

Will Chandler made the 132-man field at the 2025 WM Phoenix Open as a Monday qualifier to earn just his third PGA Tour start. And he’s loving his week so far at TPC Scottsdale, especially after a 1-under start through three holes on Sunday, leaving him tied for ninth on the final day.

“It’s been wild. It’s been good,” he said after signing for a 3-under 68 after Saturday’s third round. “Started off in the Monday and then played the tournament, played a lot of golf, and I love the atmosphere out here. It’s awesome.”
