Phil Mickelson’s wife, Amy Mickelson, allegedly was behind in getting her husband removed from an elite golf club.

Back in 2021, the three-time Masters champion was removed from Madison Club in La Quinta, California, but a new report suggests that he wasn’t banned from the facility but was “demanded by Amy” amid cheating allegations.

“He wasn’t necessarily kicked out,” a senior member of the Madison Club’s management team told journalist Alan Shipnuck for Skratch Golf on June 26. “It was more of a demand by Amy. We got a call from [Phil’s and Amy’s] wealth management firm: ‘We need Phil’s place sold, gone, right now. Phil will no longer be a member at the Madison Club.’”

His membership at the club allegedly ended after cheating allegations, as Shipnuck reported that the pro golfer was “having at least one woman who was not his wife spend the night in his condo.”

However, according to Shipnuck, it didn’t end there, as the pro golfer also reportedly cheated on Amy again at The Bridges golf club in Rancho Santa Fe, California.

“Phil would give his phone to a young man in the pro shop and pay him $500 to drive around the course for three or four hours,” a club member said of the golf pro allegedly with another woman in a property near the golf course. “Amy was tracking his phone; that way, she would think he was out on the golf course. That gave Phil the time to sneak over to this guy’s house and have his secret rendezvous.”

Phil and Amy got married in 1996 and share three children: Amanda, Sophia, and Evan.

The golf pro’s spokesperson addressed via his attorney’s the statements that Shipnuck made in his report.

“Throughout their 35-year relationship, his wife, Amy Mickelson, has supported Mr. Mickelson and their family with extraordinary grace, unwavering love, and the belief that people are measured not only by their failures, but by what they do to make them right,” the statement read. “Mr. Mickelson’s priority is to become the husband, father, and man his family deserves. Right now, that means giving his full attention to a private family health matter. He understands that parts of his life are public, but his family’s private matters are not.”

These allegations follow Phil’s recent allegations when an employee at a golf club accused the three-time Masters champion of “nonconsensual and inappropriate physical contact.”

Ashley Perez, the estranged wife of pro golfer Pat Perez, spoke out about the alleged sexual misconduct of Phil.

“I will rise up and stand next to the millions of women who have been silenced to protect the evil and darkness that lurks amongst us,” Ashley wrote on her Instagram Story on Monday, June 29. “Thank you dearly for the love and support. My heart goes out to the countless other victims.”

Ashley claimed the pro golfer “took out his phone and showed her a full-body picture of himself naked with an erection while flexing one bicep,” according to Shipnuck’s report.

Phil’s spokesperson also shed light on the sexual misconduct claims and addressed the validity of them.

“Stacking the disputed claims next to the ones he has owned does not make them credible,” the statement added. “It instead contributes to a false and misleading narrative. No person, no article, and no book can present an accurate, complete, or personal story of the life Mr. Mickelson and his family have lived. His story, struggles, and recovery belong to him and to the people who have shared it closely alongside him.”

At this time, Amy nor Phil has come out with personal statements about these accusations and Shipnuck’s report.
