Phil Mickelson Amazes Golf Fans With Barefoot Shot originally appeared on The Spun.
Phil Mickelson is with the LIV Golf Tour in Indianapolis this week and decided to try something different when his ball hit the water.
Rather than take a one stroke penalty, Mickelson decided to play the ball where it lie. But since it was in a marshy part of the course, Mickelson would have had to risk getting his shoes and pants wet to take the shot.
So Mickelson simply took them off. He planted his left foot in the mud and used his wedge to not only get the ball out of the water, but onto the green to save his hole.
