As the current leader of the DP World Tour’s Race to Dubai. Patrick Reed has already locked up his PGA Tour card for next season.

Reed’s return to regular PGA Tour events, however, will come this fall.

Reed confirmed to reporters ahead of this week’s Genesis Scottish Open, a co-sanctioned event between the DP World and PGA tours, that he’s already received a “decent amount” of sponsor exemptions from tournament directors of fall PGA Tour events.

Reed’s suspension stemming from his time with LIV Golf ends on August 25, meaning he will be eligible to play in all eight fall tournaments, starting with the Biltmore Championship on Sept. 17-20 in Asheville, North Carolina. Reed would also be eligible for a Presidents Cup captain’s pick.

“I knew coming from the U.S. Open through to The Open it was going to be five straight weeks of playing,” Reed said. “Then I have three weeks off; that is when I’m going to finalize the rest of the schedule going forward.”
