Phil Parkinson labelled Phil Neumann’s brace for Birmingham City as “two of the softest goals” conceded in his five-year reign as Wrexham manager.
The German centre-back netted either side of Callum Doyle’s equaliser as Birmingham clinched their first Championship victory of the season.

Defeat leaves winless Wrexham with just two points from their opening three league matches and Parkinson bitterly frustrated with his side’s defending.
“In all my time here, I think those two are the softest goals we’ve conceded,” said the Wrexham manager.
“We’ve got to give ourselves a chance and defend the box better than we’ve done tonight.
“The first one, two of their players could have scored. That’s unacceptable.”
Neumann was named player of the match for his display and Parkinson admitted the defender’s two goals should “hurt” his players.

“All in all, I’m just frustrated with the goals, I really am because for a centre-half to come to the Racecourse and score two goals and be walking away with the man of the match award, it’s got to hurt everybody,” he added.
Wrexham are expected to be active in the final stages of the summer transfer window.
Players including Elliot Lee, Harry Ashfield and Aaron James are among those who could depart the Red Dragons prior to Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
Meanwhile, Parkinson is thought to be eager to add a forward and a central defender to his ranks.
And Parkinson suggested some members of his squad could have been distracted in the first half by transfer talk.

“We will be endeavour to improve what we’ve got, but I think, a bit of uncertainty in the camp, players coming in, rumours of this and that,” Parkinson said.
“Has that affected us? I don’t know. It looked like it in the first half tonight because I just wanted to see more belief in us.”
He added: “We had some slack moments on the ball, but that can happen.
“But in the main, against a decent side, we played well. But when you concede goals like that, it can knock the stuffing out of you.”
