On Saturday, August 8th, the Spurs hosted the fifth annual Back to School Bash. The event supported over 3,000 local students as they prepared for the 2026-2027 school year with school supplies, haircuts, and a variety of health screenings as well as information booths for extracurricular activities and support services.
Spurs Sports and Entertainment shared some images from the event.
Jayden Quaintance, Maliq Brown, and Ja’Kobi Gillespie all helped greet the students and hand out supplies including Spurs notebooks and water bottles.

While Victor Wembanyama and Harrison Barnes are halfway across the world working out with the French Rigby Team, the newest members of the Spurs are brightening the day and setting a tone for local youngsters as the new school year approaches.

It’s been a busy summer for the Spurs draftees, and it is about to get busier. The Spurs schedule has been released and preseason is just two months away.

The SS&E Back to School Bash has drawn 17,000-plus attendees over its five years. Over the past two, the addition of screenings has reached 2,500 patrons while distributing an excess of 23,000 school supplies.
