Paris FC are back in Ligue 1 and, backed by the wealthy Arnault Family and supported by the Red Bull Group, they are looking to make their mark. This season, the club’s objective is simply to secure survival in Ligue 1, however, in the long-term, there is a more ambitious project at the Stade Jean Bouin.

It is a project that is gradually taking form. The next step has now been taken with the club now naming a new sporting director in the form of Marco Neppe. A former professional, the German will assume his role from 1st October and will replace Francois Ferracci.

Neppe spent 10 years at Bayern Munich, assuming a variety of different roles, including in scouting and recruitment. He was the club’s technical director between 2021 and 2024. In an official press release, club president Pierre Ferracci stated that Neppe’s expertise would be “precious” at Paris FC, who are going through a “transitional phase”.
