The New York Giants have signed DT Josh Tupou per a report.
Tupou, 32, is a familiar face for John Harbaugh after spending parts of 2024 and 2025 on the Baltimore Ravens practice squad.
The Giants recently worked out a group of defensive tackles, including veteran Eddie Goldman, and seem to have settled on Tupou to bolster a depth chart. Tupou will fill the roster spot opened when DT Roy Robertson-Harris to a torn Achilles suffered in practice last week.

Tupou is a 6-foot-4, 350-pound nose tackle who was originally signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent back in 2017. He has appeared in 71 career games and has started 23 over the course of his career, while also spending time on the practice squads of the Bengals, Ravens, and Indianapolis Colts.
He will likely provide depth behind DJ Reader at nose tackle throughout the spring, as well as allow rookie Bobby Jamison-Travis to develop at his own pace. It’s also possible that Tupou may be able to make some noise in the preseason, considering he has 94 tackles, 7.0 tackles for a loss, and 3.0 sacks on his career.
The Giants have made a concerted effort to bring in big space-eating defensive tackles to support their athletic linebackers. They’ve also made a point of bringing in veterans, including Reader, Shelby Harris, and Leki Fotu after trading Dexter Lawrence.
