Despite some early exits and injury struggles this season, veteran tennis star Novak Djokovic is set to compete in the 2026 French Open.
Djokovic is amongst legends in the sport, sitting on 24 major singles titles throughout his lengthy career, and tied with Margaret Court for the all-time record. The 38-year-old has been plagued with a lingering shoulder issue in recent months though, and was forced to withdraw from tournaments in Miami, Monte Carlo and and Madrid.
Experts suspect Djokovic might struggle against younger stars at Roland-Garros, mainly because it’s a clay tournament. Either way, the Joker will open up his campaign against big-serving Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in the first round. Jannik Sinner sits on the other half of the draw, meaning the two could potentially meet in final.
