On Sunday night, during the first period of the Calgary Flames’ and Seattle Krakens’ game at Climate Pledge Arena, the Flames’ newest forward, Morgan Frost, scored the game’s first goal.

Since being acquired late Thursday night, Frost, who came from the Philadelphia Flyers, has been buzzing with his new team. He came close to scoring in his first game on Saturday against the Detroit Red Wings, firing three shots on goal.

On Sunday, Frost scored his first goal since Jan. 16 when he helped the Flyers defeat the New York Islanders at UBS Arena. He’s now up to 12 goals and 26 points in 51 games, with two periods to go against the Kraken.
