Good morning Gang Green Nation! The New York Jets had a very eventful day yesterday. The Jets finally hit somebody other than their own teammates as they held a joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The hoped-for controlled aggression turned out to be not so controlled, as several scuffles broke out among the players. The Jets got some good news as David Bailey returned from a brief injury and resumed his encouraging performances. Geno Smith, on the other hand, struggled with turnovers.
The two teams square off in practice again today in advance of their first preseason game on Friday. Hopefully they can ditch the fighting and just play football.
