Our Motorsports has been operating in the NASCAR Xfinity Series since 2020, running nearly 300 races with nine top fives, 41 top tens, and a pole position at Portland in 2022. The team also ran a handful of ARCA races over the past few years, placing as high as second at Talladega.

Today, the team revealed that Dover will be their final race, as Our Motorsports plans to cease operations after this weekend.

An official statement from the team read as follows: “Our Motorsports and Kris Wright have officially parted ways following the Sonoma race on July 15, 2025. Our Motorsports will complete its season on Saturday in Dover, Del., with Kaz Grala behind the wheel of the No. 5 Ferguson Chevrolet. Our Motorsports will cease operations in NASCAR racing moving forward. Thank you to NASCAR, Chevrolet, the fans, employees, and drivers, for a good ride over the last 6 years.”

Earlier this week, Our Motorsports also parted ways with full-time driver Kris Wright, replacing him with Kaz Grala for this Saturday’s race at Dover Motor Speedway. Grala is an experienced racer with starts across all three national divisions and a win in the NASCAR Truck Series. While some thought this was the beginning of a new partnership, it turns out that it will be for just one race before the No. 5 Chevrolet ceases to exist.

Grala reacted to the news with the following statement: “Grateful that Our Motorsports reached out and wanted to race together this weekend as they close this chapter as a team. We’re gonna give it all we’ve got to cap things off on a high note tomorrow! I appreciate Legacy Motor Club and Toyota Racing for letting me take any opportunities that come my way. Was business as usual this week, and The Club’s Dover package felt a little extra sporty in sim.”

Our Motorsports currently sits 29th in the drivers’ standings (last among full-time drivers), a far cry from their 2024 season when Anthony Alfredo reached 15th in the standings (the team’s best showing).

Wright failed to qualify for the recent race at Chicago, and has just one top ten result this year — a ninth-place finish at Martinsville.
