Great Historical Performers in Texas

William Byron, No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet

Byron is the best performer at Texas in the NextGen era, achieving one victory and an average finish of 6.0, being one of three drivers to average a top-10 finish.

Daniel Suarez, No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet

Unexpected this may be, but Suarez is one of three drivers to average a top-10 finish at Texas (8.8) in the NextGen era. Suarez has 3 top-10’s in 4 starts, and it can be said that his No. 7 Chevrolet is the strongest car that Suarez has ever run in full-time.

Worst Historical Performers in Texas

Todd Gilliland, No. 34 Front Row Motorsports Ford

Gilliland averages a starting position of 34th place and an average finish of 26th place at Texas Motor Speedway. He should not be a top-15 factor this upcoming Sunday.

Ty Gibbs, No. 54 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota

The script certainly may flip this weekend, but Gibbs has not been very good at Texas. In his 4 starts, he averages a 22.3 place finish, despite a 7.0 place start. Gibbs does this while wrecking out of the race once, yet still leaves a bad mark, never finishing in the top-10.
