Larson took full advantage of his pole position, as he navigated through the race with relative ease and control.
The No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports driver had some tense moments toward the end of the event due to an apparent tire issue, but managed to stave off Christopher Bell of Joe Gibbs Racing and the rest of the field to come away with his third win of the season.
Larson netted 61 points for his victory in Kansas, allowing him to overtake Hendrick Motorsports teammate William Byron for the top spot in the overall points standings in 2025.
On the season, Larson has three wins with nine top 10s and eight top 5s to go along with eight stage wins and 817 laps led. He has 469 points to lead all drivers, while Byron has 434 after collecting 13 in the Kansas City race for finishing 24th.
