The Great American Getaway 400 NASCAR Cup Series race on June 14 at Pocono Raceway will start at 1 p.m. Eastern/12 p.m. Central, a two-hour time change announced by NASCAR the day before the race.

NASCAR cited forecasted inclement weather for the time change.

The Cup Series will practice and qualify for the 400-mile race on June 13 at the 2.5-mile triangle.

The race will be televised by Amazon Prime Video.

NASCAR Pocono race weather forecast for Sunday

The National Weather Service forecasts a high temperature of 79 degrees on June 14 in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, with rain chances increasing in the early afternoon.

Rain chances increase to 67% by 4 p.m., per the NWS, with thunder and lightning possible.
