Denny Hamlin is on the pole for the FireKeepers Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series race on June 7 at Michigan International Speedway.

Hamlin’s lap of 36.901 seconds was 0.018 seconds faster than second-place Carson Hocevar in qualifying on June 6.

The top 10 includes three Joe Gibbs Racing Toyotas and three Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolets.

Josh Berry spun during his qualifying run and didn’t record a time. He will start 37th in the 400-mile race.
