As the NASCAR community still reels from a chaotic Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway, the circuit heads to Kansas Speedway this weekend for the Hollywood Casino 400. It marks the fourth race of the Chase for the Cup Series.
In addition to Sunday’s Cup Series race at the 1.5-mile track, the ARCA Menards Series and the Craftsman Truck Series are on tap. Kansas Speedway is the site of the second race for the Craftsman Truck Series Chase and the season-finale race for the ARCA Menards Series.

Who Won Last Year’s Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway?
Chase Elliott enters Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400 as the defending winner. It was the second of two wins in 2025 for the driver of the No. 9, second career win at Kansas Speedway and 21st career Cup Series win overall.
Elliott won last year’s Kansas playoff race in thrilling fashion. Going down the backstretch on the final lap, Bubba Wallace was in command when Denny Hamlin pulled to the inside of the driver of the No. 23 heading into turn 3.

As the two leaders entered the corner, Hamlin slid up into Wallace, putting the latter into the outside wall. The contact forced Hamlin to lose momentum, allowing Elliott to sneak by on the inside in turn 4 and get back to the finish line first.
Under the previous playoff format, Elliott advanced to the Round of 8 with the victory.
Ahead of this Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400, Elliott finds himself in a slump. While the Hendrick Motorsports star won two races earlier in the 2026 season, he has only one top-five finish in the last 18 races. Elliott ranks 12th in the points standings, 117 points out of the lead.
Meanwhile, Elliott’s HMS teammate, Kyle Larson, leads the points standings by one point over Denny Hamlin heading into Sunday’s race.
