Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has been the talk of the NASCAR world the past few weeks due to his newfound rivalry with Carson Hocevar. That’s not the only reason why he’s trending on social media though.

During the Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway, Hocevar sent Stenhouse for a spin on Lap 106 on Stage 2. Stenhouse, who picked up his first DNF of the 2025 season on June 1, made it clear that he wasn’t OK with Hocevar’s antics.

“I’ve been in this sport a long time and if you make a mistake like that, you generally pick up the phone as quick as you can, especially if you feel bad about it,” Stenhouse said Tuesday. “If you don’t, you just roll on with it. No, I’ve not gotten a call from him. I’ve talked to his owner. Jeff Dickerson and I are super tight. I haven’t gotten a call from him, so to my point, he doesn’t really care about it, which is fine.”

Two weeks later, Hocevar and Stenhouse made contact at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. Once the Viva Mexico 250 wrapped up, Stenhouse confronted Hocevar on pit road.

“I just got left and in the marbles and slid a lot longer than I expected,” Hocevar said. “So yeah, I mean, obviously number one, not somebody I would never want to hit again. But number two, just yeah, I wasn’t racing anything. I was just logging laps, just trying to wait on a yellow and maybe see if we could put our day back together. But yeah, I just hit a curb wrong and got in the marbles and slid all the way through the corner. So I tried to turn left and avoid him, but just really, really sloppy day by me, and then that was another incident of the day that was really just sloppy.”

Although the past few weeks haven’t been easy for Hocevar, his bank account did get a whole lot bigger.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the driver of the No. 47 Chevrolet sold his roughly 140-acre equestrian estate near Charlotte for $12.2 million. That’s more than triple what he paid for 12 years ago.

Back in 2022, Stenhouse listed his massive home in North Carolina for nearly $16 million. Though he failed to hit that number, he still made a historic sale for those buying property in Charlotte.

We’re not sure what’s next for Stenhouse but he definitely has the necessary funds to acquire real estate elsewhere.
