After a week-long break, the NASCAR Cup Series returns to action this weekend at the iconic Iowa Speedway for the Corn 350, as the battle for the championship enters its decisive final stretch.
Denny Hamlin continues to lead the championship standings, holding an 86-point advantage over Tyler Reddick. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver has also dominated much of the season, leading more than twice as many laps as any other competitor.

The series heads to Iowa following an action-packed Brickyard 400, where Corey Heim secured his second NASCAR Cup Series victory after fending off late challenges from Christopher Bell and Joey Logano during the final green-flag run.
Heim, who is competing on a part-time schedule this season before joining 23XI Racing full-time in 2027, started from the fourth row and led 58 of the 160 laps at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to earn a memorable victory.
The Brickyard 400 featured plenty of drama, with 11 different drivers taking turns at the front of the field. Ty Gibbs claimed victory in Stage 1, while Ross Chastain took the Stage 2 win before Heim emerged victorious when it mattered most.
