NASCAR has announced the first key dates for the 2027 Cup Series calendar ahead of the final push towards the conclusion of the 2026 season.
While the full schedule for next season remains under wraps, the announcement has revealed several marquee events, including the opening races of the year and a number of major summer dates. Among the highlights is the return to Daytona International Speedway for its traditional August race weekend.

NASCAR has also confirmed that The Clash will return in 2027 and released the complete schedule for Daytona Speedweeks, culminating in the running of the iconic Daytona 500.
Although the remainder of the 2027 schedule is expected to be unveiled in the coming months, fans can already begin marking some of the sport’s biggest events on their calendars as anticipation builds for another exciting season.
NASCAR Cup Series 2027 schedule
The opening stages of the 2027 NASCAR Cup Series schedule have been revealed, with the first three events of the new season taking place at the iconic Daytona International Speedway.

Alongside the February dates, NASCAR has also confirmed two race weekends at EchoPark Speedway, as well as the traditional return to Daytona in August.
The sanctioning body has also announced plans to race at Watkins Glen International in September, although the official date for the event has yet to be confirmed.
NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series
Only a few dates have been announced for the 2027 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, including two dates at the Daytona International Speedway.
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series
Four races for the 2027 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series have been announced, including two races at the EchoPark Speedway in February and July.
