The NASCAR Cup Series race near Atlanta could be impacted by weather on July 12.
The Quaker State 400 is scheduled for the green flag after 7:15 p.m. Eastern/6:15 p.m. Central at EchoPark Speedway in Hampton, Georgia.

Forecasted rain chances have fluctuated throughout the week, and the current forecast still leaves for uncertainty.
The 1.54-mile oval is located on the west side of Hampton, and had rain fall earlier in the day.

NASCAR Atlanta race Sunday night forecast
According to the National Weather Service, the forecast for 7 p.m. on July 12 calls for a 57% chance of rain and some possible thunder. Temperatures are forecasted around 82 degrees but falling.

The rain chances hold around that number throughout the evening, leaving for uncertainty for the 400-mile event.
If the race is delayed, the forecast is similar for July 13.
